The Dassault Falcon 8X has made its first appearance on the show ABACE (Asian Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition).

The business jet shown in the picture, register kept by F-WWQC, is the third Falcon 8X produced. It has installed a complete cabin and is in Shanghai as part of a world tour before its entry into service in late 2016 or early 2017.

So far, the Falcon 8X has a single buyer in China. general manager of China Dassault Falcon Jean Michel Jacob, however, says that Chinese customers prefer to see a aircraft before making a decision, therefore, the company made a great effort to bring the aircraft to the fair despite types ongoing test campaign. So visual judgement and impression is very important for them.

"It was difficult to get the test aircraft, but we have very high expectations for the 8X in China," he says.

Jacob believes the 8X, Dassault Falcon says you can connect city pairs such as Shanghai-Chicago, is very suitable for the China market, which prefers long-range, large-cabin private jets. Dassault says that technicians in its customer center in Beijing held a one-week course specific maintenance for the Falcon 8X. The support center also starts storing spare parts for Dassault's aviation products.
