First Airbus A350-1000, which is now structurally complete in Toulouse, is on track to make its first flight later this year as it moves through the final assembly process.

Airbus says that although it has not yet set the date for the official launch, the first A350-1000 "is progressing well on the final assembly line" and "first flight is on track to go through the end of the year" .

Drawing, derivative A350-900 seats 366 is equipped with more powerful Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-97 engines. A notable obvious change at a glance is the main landing gear revised, incorporating bogies six wheels instead of four-wheel drives on the A350-900.

Airbus named it MSN059, it is one of the flight test aircraft three Airbus A350-1000 is producing. The first -1000 is expected to be delivered to first customer in Q2-2017.
